Steeping darkness into my very soul

contaminated

I could not crawl out of myself,

afraid to move for lack of breath.

What is this darkness?

Where did it come from?

Out of nothingness

It steals my joy

How I hate you

you dark ugly knight

puncturing my spirit,

my love of all the light.

You rob me of strength,

to get back to myself,

of what I can give

to find me again
